Other ways to build app and submit for the App Store or Google Play

We asked members of the React Native community to share their opinions about the results

The 2023 State of React Native survey results reveal a general pattern: React Native developers are increasingly interested in using automated build and deployment tools to handle the building and distribution of their apps. Simultaneously, their interest in using the manual build and distribution flow with Xcode and Android Studio appears to be waning.
This shift can be attributed to the desire of React Native developers to prioritize coding and implementing new features in their apps, rather than dealing with the complexities of building and distributing their multi-platform apps to app stores. Furthermore, it may be affected by the presence of services that offer tailored solutions like EAS, with the goal of delivering a seamless experience for React Native developers and simplifying the setup of React Native CI/CD processes.
By employing automated deployment tools, developers and teams aim to enhance their productivity by dedicating more time and resources to feature development, while allowing the tools to handle the rest for them.
